The original practice of lowering cars and trucks was outlawed, but customizers developed a hydraulic suspension method that beat the law. In 2020, Mattel honored that sense of development when they devised adjustable suspension for the 1969 Chevy® C-10 to raise the bar on Hot Wheels! For 2021, Redline Club Members chose the fresh new casting for the sELECTIONs edition
Collectors quickly discovered the fun of adjusting the casting’s settings from “Street” to “Slam’d.” Members were down with the feature, so the piece rose up to win enough sELECTIONs votes to join the series
Also chosen by voters was Spectraflame oxblood – a color which makes its debut for on this release! Members also picked out Real Riders 5-spoke wheels with black hubs and a silver lip with red stripe tampo. And to emphasize that the truck is not just for fun, voters opted for the Shop truck deco
It’s safely packed in a felt-lined blister frame within a solid box to help keep it pristine
